European Democratic Education Conference 1-9 Aug 2015
On behalf of EUDEC and Bullerbyn Foundation we are very happy to announce that EUDEC 2015 Meeting, including Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Public Session: Open Festival INSPIRE THE FUTURE based on Manifesto15, will be held in Ojrzanów close to Warsaw, Poland.
The two Open Day Conference / Public Session that follows 7-8 Aug, will take place in Ojrzanów.
The aim of the Public Session: Open Festival INSPIRE THE FUTURE is to exchange experience, networking and inspiring attendees to a reflection towards Manifesto15 with Key note speakers from the US, Europe, especially from Poland.
We would love this Meeting to create space for sharing our experience, making new friends and powerfull relations that will become na inspiration for further development. We wish you a happy stay with lots of joy and unforgetable memories.

The Ojrzanów Farm (Zagroda Ojrzanów) is a unique venue for the EUDEC meeting.
The nearby lakes and forests are a fantastic place to rest, walk, swim, or play team games.
It is a perfect place for discussion and exchanging experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

FEES
Normal Fee:
- EUDEC Member – 330 euro / 1280 PLN
- Non EUDEC Member – 370 euro / 1440 PLN
- Kid (Age 3-12) -120 euro / 500 PLN
- Teenager (Age 12-18) – 330 euro / 1280 PLN
Special offer for 3 or more person in one registration:
- as an EUDEC Member Early Bird Fee – 285 euro / 1100 PLN
Free of charge:
- Small Kid (year of birth 2012-2015)

CHILDREN
We will provide a childcare service between August 2-8th in two time slots:
10.00 – 13.00 and 15.00-18.00 everyday.
The children will be looked after by enthusiastic young people.
This service will NOT be charged additionally. Due to the fact that about 100 kids were registered in the first call announcement, we would appreciate if you transfer a small contribution (any amount Image may be NSFW.

) to cover the costs of childcare. Additionally we encourage you to take a volunteership in childcare to help out. We are very concerned about kids as there are a few lakes directly at the farm.
If you really want to come, we hope that the fee will not be a barrier.

ARRIVAL
The reception desk will be open on 1st of August 2015 at 11.00.
There will be time for check in and putting up your own tents for sleeping.
The first meal – lunch, will be served between 13.00– 15.00.
STAYING IN OJRZANOW
After arrival on Saturday, August 1st, the meeting will last for the next eight days (2.08.-9.08.).
It is going to focus on the exchange between people who already are, or are interested to become,
actively involved in democratic education. This part is not only for EUDEC members.
Others are warmly invited to participate as well. These days will be organized in the “open space“
way, i.e. all participants are invited to initiate workshops spontaneously, present their own ideas and/or questions etc. The previous EUCEC conferences have shown how well this method works, and we are looking forward to having five days available to work together like this.
Some workshops are also being planned/prepared in advance, so we encourage you to prepare your own workshop topics.
During these days we will also use some hours for the “Annual General Meeting” (AGM) of the European Democratic Education Community.
We encourage you to take musical instruments with you.
It would be very nice to sit down in the evening and play and sing together
TWO OPEN DAYS PUBLICK SESSION: Festival INSPIRE THE FUTURE
On Friday/Saturday (07.08 + 08.08.) we run the two Open Day Public Session.
The open session days will refer to education, adult – kid relationship, as well as self – led learning and taking decisions together. The aim of the Public Session is to exchange experience, networking and inspiring attendees to a reflection with the document Manifesto15.

ACCOMODATION
The EUDEC Meeting will be held in a rural area, at a farm, close to Warsaw.
TENTS
All participants are free to put up their own tents within the area of a hosting farm without any additional fee for the tents.

MEALS
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks between the meals, as well as coffee, tea and water (all day long) are included in the fee.

How to get to Ojrzanów from Warsaw:

For those who are going to travel by car [click] , here is a link that will show Ojrzanów in the google maps.
We encourage you to use this site: http://warszawa.jakdojade.pl (there is an android application called Jakdojade.pl). It will help you find the most convenient way of getting from Warsaw to Ojrzanów.
You need to type in the name of the place you are starting from. It can be the name of the stop, or the address etc..
Your destination is a bus stop “Krakowiany” From there you have to walk for about 2 km in order to get to the conference venue in Ojrzanów.
Below you can view the examples of how to get from the Warsaw Central Train Station and from the Chopin airport to the bus stop “Krakowiany”

Once you get to the bus stop Krakowiany you need to walk [click] 2 km towards Ojrzanów.
It may happen that due to some changes in the timetable of the public transport, the presented ways of getting to Ojrzanów may be no longer up-to-date.
For this reason, we advise you to check this site again two weeks before the conference, in case something changes.

Dear eudec participants,
There have been some changes in the public transport time table due to the roadworks. Becuase of this, bus 733 goes to the stop Krakowiany only 4 times a day. If You were planning to get to Ojrzanów by public transport, we advise You to check if the time table is convientent for You.

If it is inconvient, You can change your destination, to Młochów. It is still close to Ojrzanów, but 733 goes there 10 times a day. It might be hard to walk from there to Ojrzanów, so we ecnoruarge You to register here [click] , so that someone can pick you up from the bus stop to Ojrzanów.
Ticktes:
You need to buy tickets for public transport. We advise you to buy 2 single fare transfer tickets for both zones, without discount. Two of them cost 14 PLN. ( This will be enuogh to get you to Ojrzanów. It is a good idea to buy 2 more ticktes for the way back, because there might be some problems to buy them on the spot.)
You need to validate your first ticket, when you start using public transport. From this moment on you are free to use all the means of public transport for the next 90 minutes. Afterwards you need to validate your second ticket.

Parking
It will be possible to park your vehicles at the hosting farm (Ojrzanów) with no additional fee.
DEPARTURE
Sunday, August 9th will be our day of farewell.
After good breakfast and a last plenary session in the morning we will say good-bye to each other.
Every guest is asked to leave the venue at lunchtime (or stay only to help cleaning up).
